Dipinto of a ship, located in the upper left quadrant of the back wall of Bay 25. The vessel is damaged by large losses of plaster, which have completely destroyed the upper half, where the sail and the mast must have been, and the center of the hull. The ink is faded in many of the other still extant areas. From what is still visible, it is possible to identify a ship sailing on a port tack. The best-preserved elements are two long rudders (πηδάλια) rendered in thick diagonal lines that also outline the central rib of each rudder. The left rudder is significantly longer than the right one. No other oars are recognizable. The keel is flat; it rises sharply toward the stern, which terminates in a raised and curved aplustre. The prow is completely faded.
